Press Coverage

Pick the 'Publication' option to add any Press activity to the Dashboard.

  1. WHEN - Add the date of the activity.
  2. WHO - Fill out the publication name, the section of that publication and the circulation figure. CampaignAmp will try to autocomplete these for you. Alternatively, you can paste a URL which should fill out the fields automatically.
  3. WHAT - Enter the type of Press activity such as Interview or Feature and add any notes for context. Pick the activity status and attach any relevant files (e.g. a press clipping). Any uploaded files will also appear in the Resource Bank.
  4. SAVE - Click the speech bubble to send a message to the team and save your update.

Online Coverage

Pick the 'Website' option to add any Online PR activity to the Dashboard.

  1. WHEN - Add the date of the activity.

  3. WHAT - Enter the type of Online PR activity such as Interview or Feature, add any notes for context and pick the activity status if not already published.
  4. SAVE - Click the speech bubble to send a message to the team and save your update.

Website Links

Pick this option to add multiple URL links as a single entry. This could be the resulting video posts on blogs after a PR mailout, for example.

  1. WHEN - Add the date of the activity.
  2. WHAT - Enter the type of activity such as Video or Mention and add the URLs with a line break between each. Save and close from this screen.

Pick Radio or TV Show to add details for a specific Radio/TV appearance.

  1. WHEN - Select a recording (RX) and a transmission (TX) date.
  2. WHO - Select the Group/Network/Station or Group/Channel from the dropdowns. Fill out the Show and include a Contact if you want.
  3. WHAT - Add any additional notes. These will show in the Radio Show module, next to the activity.
  4. SAVE - Click the speech bubble to send a message to the team and save your update.

Quick-adding Information

Add activity directly into Modules using the quick-add function.

You can use this function on all Publicity Dashboard Modules.

  1. Select the + icon at the top right of the Module.
  2. If adding PR coverage, paste your URL into the 'Published URL' field to auto-fill the Publication/Website name and Circulation/Reach fields. If there is no published URL you can fill these fields in manually.
  3. Upload any accompanying files with the upload 'paperclip' icon to the right. If file is an official campaign asset then add it to 'Approved Campaign Assets', otherwise add it to another folder. Files uploaded without a folder selected appear directly in the Resource Bank.
  4. Click Save to add the activity into the Modules.

Direct Editing

Once your PR coverage is in the Modules you can edit it directly, so you don't have to click the edit pencil each time.

You can do this in the Pitched, Declined, In Discussion, Confirmed and Published Modules as well as the Links Module.

  1. Double click on the entry you want to edit.
  2. Update the Date, Publication/Website, Circulation/Reach, Section, Type, Content, Notes or the uploaded file.
  3. Click Save.
